The participants discussed current international issues as well as bilateral cooperation.

The head of the delegation, Deputy Chairman of the BRICS Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Sameep Shastri, proposed six directions for the future format of cooperation. These include support for promising business projects, promotion of innovation, and exchange of specialists in education and science.

Mr. Alexander Murychev, the Chairman of the FBA EAC Board, has expressed interest in developing cooperation with the BRICS Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He is interested in exploring possible areas of cooperation.

Ms. Ankita Sachdev presented the so-called women's vertical of the BRICS Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which aims to support women entrepreneurs. She invited the FBA EAC to join this aspect of the chamber's work. Mr. Murychev assured her that, after developing a plan for bilateral cooperation, the FBA EAC would be able to contribute to this initiative.

The heads of the FBA EAC invited representatives of the BRICS Chamber of Commerce and Industry to participate in the Moscow International Financial and Economic Forum (MIFEF)-2024, which will take place on November 21, 2024.

Mr. Sameep Shastri has confirmed the possibility of attending the forum and making presentations. The parties have agreed to sign a memorandum of cooperation "on the margins" of the MIFEF-2024, as well as mutual membership free of charge.

The meeting was held in a friendly and collaborative atmosphere, promoting a constructive exchange of ideas.

The BRICS Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BRICS CCI) was founded in 2012 as a platform for collaboration between Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa. Since then, the chamber has expanded its activities to include other BRICS member countries and has also opened additional representative offices in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, among other places.

The BRICS Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosts more than 100 international forums, business summits, and networking events each year, bringing together more than 10,000 entrepreneurs, policymakers, and business leaders from around the world. These events foster dialogue, promote economic cooperation, and pave the way for new opportunities for businesses within the BRICS framework.
