On July 1, 2021, at 11.00, a scheduled meeting of the President of the FBA EAC Anatoly Tkachuk with the Vice Presidents and Chairmen of the FBA EAC Committees took place in the videoconferencing mode.
The meeting summed up the work for June, discussed the work plan for the coming month, the organization of the VIII Moscow International Financial Economic Forum, as well as the formation of new committees and introduction of a unified reporting system on the work done.
The President of the FBA EAC Anatoly Tkachuk made a welcoming speech. He noted the productivity of the FBA EAC Committee on Economic and Strategic Cooperation in June and stressed that the Association is actively developing business relations with the countries of the Middle East and North Africa. Then the Chairman of the FBA EAC Committee on Economic and Strategic Development, Denis Panasenko said that in June the Committee managed to hold several fruitful meetings with representatives of the UAE and Egypt with the aim of further cooperation and implementation of joint projects.
Vladimir Kondratenko, Chairman of the FBA EAC Committee on International Scientific and Technical Cooperation, emphasized the active joint work with the FBA EAC Committee on Economic and Strategic Development in his speech, and also spoke about the preparation of the Committee for participation in the International Scientific and Technical Conference under the auspices of the Russian Technological University.
Grigory Dashutin, Chairman of the FBA EAC Committee on Industrial Policy and Engineering, spoke about fluctuations in the market for commodity quotations and the growth in demand for science-intensive technological production, and also noted the importance of continuing to work in the proposed economic conditions.
Chairman of the FBA EAC Committee on Finance and Investments, Philip Delmott reported on the work done in June. He said that the Committee is actively working with the company HSBC to find practical financial and business solutions for Russia. On July 8, 2021, it is planned to hold the first round table, in which representatives of the Eurasian Development Bank, VTB Factoring and the Astana International Financial Center will take part.
Andrey Bespalov spoke about the work of the FBA EAC Committee on HR Technologies and Qualification. The committee continues to expand its membership and work actively. An agreement was signed between the Committee and the rector of the Academy of Labor and Social Relations. There are plans to open a new laboratory for students.
Alexander Kotlyarsky, First Vice President of the FBA EAC, spoke on the organization and holding of the VIII Moscow International Financial Economic Forum. He noted that by now the main topics of the forum panels have already been formed, a number of speakers have been invited, but it is necessary to continue work and attract participants. In the closing remarks of the General Director of the FBA EAC Oleg Berezovoy, the emphasis was placed on attracting high-level participants to the work of the forum in order to increase the prestige of the site of the VIII Moscow International Financial and Economic Forum.
The meeting was held in a constructive business spirit.
