April 26, 2022, a round table of the FBA EAC Committee on the best available technologies (BAT) and investment projects was held in the format of a videoconference. The participants discussed "New technological solutions in the use of secondary resources and rehabilitation of problem areas".
Acting President of the FBA EAC, General Director of PROMTECH LLC Alexander Kotlyarsky, General Director of the FBA EAC Oleg Berezovoy, and Chairman of the FBA EAC Committee on BAT and Investment Projects, moderator of the round table, General Director of the International Business Assistance Center Yuri Fedorov addressed the audience with welcoming words.
The program of the round table was very informative. A report on the topic "Choosing the best available technologies in the preparation of projects for the rehabilitation of problem areas" was made by a member of the FBA EAC Committee on BAT and Investment Projects, Doctor of Economics, Professor Vladislav Donchenko.
Valentin Karamzin, a member of the FBA EAC Committee on BAT and Investment Projects, Doctor of Technical Sciences and Professor, spoke about the development of a system of machines and technologies for processing various types of waste that pollute the environment.
The topic of the round table was continued by Gennady Teslenko, Deputy Chairman of the FBA EAC Committee on NDT and Investment Projects and Ph.D. in Economics. His speech was devoted to the topic of environmental rehabilitation projects of degraded territories and reservoirs with the use of organomineral soil modifiers.
The participants did not ignore the topic of the development and production of equipment for solving environmental problems in the context of import substitution. Dmitry Pivovarov, Executive Director of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Buryatia, spoke about the reconstruction of power grids, modernization of boiler houses and minimization of harmful emissions in the private sector.
Sumit Sengupta, a representative of Montari Industries Ltd., gave an overview of environmental projects in the Republic of India. He spoke about the demand for NDT in the field of industrial wastewater and water supply in small cities of India.
The round table was concluded by Alexey Plyusnin, PhD in Geological and Mineralogical Sciences, Head of the Laboratory of Hydrogeology and Geoecology of the Geological Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences. He made a presentation on the topic "Environmental safety and rehabilitation of liquid waste in the mining industry".
Summing up the discussion, Alexander Kotlyarsky voiced a number of proposals on the possible application of the announced technologies, and also stressed the need to bring the legislative framework in the field of NTD to a single standard.
The event was attended by more than 40 companies from Russia, Bulgaria, Uzbekistan, Italy, India, Finland, Great Britain. The round table was held in a constructive business manner.
