Anatoly Tkachuk, Member of the FBA EAC Executive Board, took part in the International Forum «Eurasian integration process: present and future» on December 12, 2022. The Forum was hosted by Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation. The organizers of the Forum were Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation and «Centre for International Legal Cooperation of EAEU».
The Forum became an open platform for the discussion of topical issues in the development of Eurasian integration. The topic of discussion, along with the search for ways to develop regional integration, was the formation of the EAEU not only as an integrational and economic, but also as a cultural regional center. The participants discussed the implementation of cross-border business projects, possible initiatives of the Russian presidency in the EAEU bodies in 2023, as well as legal aspects of Eurasian integration development.
Speakers included members of the State Duma and the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, Deputy Chairman of the CIS Executive Committee - CIS Executive Secretary, directors of departments of the Eurasian Economic Commission, judges of the Eurasian Economic Union Court, heads of ministries and departments of EAEU member states, political, public and academic figures of EAEU member states.
The Forum provided an opportunity to discuss a wide range of issues related to the development of Eurasian integration, aimed at maintaining dialogue and promoting mutual understanding between representatives of the EAEU and CIS member states and deepening cooperation in the economic, legal and cultural fields.
