On July 6, 2021, in Moscow, the President of the FBA EAC Anatoly Tkachuk held a working meeting with a representative of the business circles of the Republic of Sudan represented by the Chairman of the Council of the International Organization GlobalInterProm, Mr. Sami Hassan Ahmed.
During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of interaction of the business community of the Republic of Sudan with the FBA EAC in the framework of the implementation of major infrastructure projects, the establishment of trade processes, as well as the involvement of various financial and banking mechanisms. In addition, during the negotiations, the interest of a number of African companies to join the EAC FBA members was indicated in order to expand cooperation at the international level.
Thus, the FBA EAC significantly strengthens its position on the African continent.
