On September 22, 2023 at the headquarters of FBA EAC a business meeting was held between Alexander Murychev, Chairman of the FBA EAC Board and Igor Kozhin, Head of the UNIDO Center for International Industrial Cooperation in the Russian Federation.
The meeting was attended by Sergey Korotkov, Advisor to the Chairman of the FBA EAC Board.
Sergey Korotkov introduced Igor Kozhin, recently appointed Head of the UNIDO Center in Russia. The participants discussed the opportunities and areas of interaction between the FBA EAC and the UNIDO Center, which is designed to ensure cooperation with Russian and international partners to implement UNIDO programs and projects, as well as to promote the role of UNIDO in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. The Centre operates on project-oriented basis, cooperates with federal ministries and agencies, as well as interested structures and organizations of the industrial and economic block. The Center promotes investments and technologies within the network of UNIDO ITPO offices and coordinates the implementation of sustainable industrial development projects in Russia and other countries.
The meeting was held in a friendly and constructive atmosphere. The parties outlined the roadmap of further cooperation.
