Company Group «RUSTITANIUM» negotiated with the Chinese company CCCC the implementation of a Megaproject in the arctic zone of Russia
At the beginning of 2023 a meeting was held between Company Group «RUSTITANIUM» and China Communications Construction Company (CCCC) on the platform of the Russian Union of Industrialist and Entrepreneurs, where the implementation of a mining project to develop the Pizhemskoe deposit in the Komi Republic was discussed.
The meeting took place as a result of RSPP President Alexander Shokhin’s address to Mr. Zhang Hanhui, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Russian Federation. From the Russian side the meeting was attended by Anatoly Tkachuk, President of «RUSTITANIUM» Company Group, Member of the FBA EAC Executive Board; Alexey Novikov, General Director of «RUSTITANIUM»; Vasily Ivanov, Member of the Board of «RUSTITANIUM», and Andrey Melnikov, Technical Director of «RUSTITANIUM». The Chinese side at the meeting was represented by Ma Jinyang, General Director of the Moscow branch of CCCC, and Cui Jiapeng, Deputy General Director of the Moscow branch of CCCC.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the participation of the Chinese company CCCC in the Megaproject to create a national mining cluster with the construction of the Indiga deep-water seaport and the Sosnogorsk - Indiga railway in the Arctic zone of Russia.
The Chinese side is considering supplying the Chinese market with the commercial products of «RUSTITAN» Company Group, among which are porous rutile, pigmented titanium dioxide, synthetic needle wollastonite, iron oxide, calcined quartz sand, as well as premium grades of glass sand with low iron content.

The deposit was discovered by «RUSTITAN» in 2021.
