Countries of CIS and Europe: new formats of economic cooperation within current geopolitical realias
On June 23-24, 2017 the CIS Financial and Banking Council together with the Russian-Czech Joint Chamber of Commerce, with the support of CIS Executive Committee arranged the International Financial and Economic Forum of CIS and European countries “Prague business meetings” (The Czech Republic, Prague). The Forum was dedicated to the cooperation between financial, banking and business structures in CIS and Europe.
The program of the Forum included discussions of export finance, financial support of trade and investment operations, new formats of cooperation between CIS and EU, and also presentations of projects important for integration and cross-border cooperation. The participants of the Forum will change experience of addressing such issues, gained in the European countries and international financial centers.
Among the participants were chairmen of central (national) banks and stock exchanges, leaders of financial agencies, banking units and association, heads of the largest commercial and investment banks, as well as investment companies of CIS and the EU. Mr. Anatoly Kazakov, Chairman of the Coordination Council of the Financial and Banking Council of CIS opened and moderated the plenary session.

Tigran Davtyan – Head of Financial Policy in the European Economic Commission (EEU) and many other.
От Финансово-банковской ассоциации ЕвроАзиатского Сотрудничества в работе форума приняли участие Генеральный директор ФБА ЕАС Березовой Олег Владимирович.

The Financial&Banking Association of Euro-Asian Cooperation was represented by Mr. Oleg Berezovoy, General Director of FBA EAC.
Issues discussed at the Forum included:
- Economies of CIS: from crisis to new growing points;
- European Union: possibilities to recover cooperation on the territory of Commonwealth of international and national institutes of development;
- European energy policy and its influence on energy markets;
- Rosatom approaches to financing NPP construction projects;
- Integration of financial markets in EAEU area;
- Banking systems of the EU and CIS: meeting new challenges on Eurasian markets;
- Consolidation of new opportunities in investment risks for insurance markets in Commonwealth countries;
- Future of investment and export-import activity with regards to sanctions;
- Czech companies on the CIS markets – traditional leader among East European countries of the EU;
- Experience and perspectives of export projects and programs of the Czech Republic in CIS.
