FBA EAC President Li Shoubing meeting with Heads of Representative Offices and Chairmen of FBA EAC Committees
On 11 October 2022, the first meeting of FBA EAC President Li Shoubing with the Heads of Representative offices and Chairmen of FBA EAC Committees took place.
FBA EAC General Director Oleg Berezovoy chaired the meeting. In his opening speech he informed the participants that all their proposals would be reflected in the minutes of the event and specific proposals for cooperation would be forwarded to the President of the FBA EAC.
President Li Shoubing welcomed the participants to the meeting. In his opening statement he noted that the FBA EAC is a multifunctional platform for international cooperation with high-level experts and specialists. At the moment, FBA EAC is considering several key areas in terms of strategic cooperation. These include trade, investment and industry.
President of RSPP Alexander Shokhin took part in the meeting and congratulated Li Shoubing on his election as FBA EAC President and presented his views on further cooperation with the Association.
Bakhytbek Baiseitov, Chairman of the FBA EAC Business Council, Anatoly Tkachuk, Member of the FBA EAC Board, and Alexander Kotlyarskiy, First Vice-President of FBA EAC, made proposals on cooperation with the PRC and countries of the FBA EAC presence.
The Chairmen of the FBA EAC Committees had the opportunity to introduce themselves to the President and outline their Committees' work and activities. The meeting was addressed by Philippe Delmotte, Chairman of the FBA EAC Committee on Finance and Investment; Oleg Preksin, Chairman of the International Banking Committee; Andrea Boldi, Chairman of the FBA EAC Precious Metals Committee; Vladimir Kondratenko, Chairman of the FBA EAC Committee on International Scientific and Technical Cooperation; Andrey Bespalov, Chairman of the FBA EAC Committee on HR Technologies and Qualification; Yuri Fedorov, Chairman of the FBA EAC Committee on the Best Available Technologies and Investment Projects; Alexander Artyukhin, Chairman of the FBA EAC Committee on Healthcare, Pharmacy and Medical Equipment and Sergey Plikais, Chairman of the FBA EAC Committee on Investments in Construction and Real Estate.
Heads of FBA EAC Representative Offices also had the opportunity to speak and share their vision of cooperation within the Association. These included Irina Gorbulina, Head of the FBA EAC Representative office in the Commonwealth of Australia and New Zealand; Alexander Biryukov, Head of the FBA EAC Representative office in West Africa and Mauritania; Bogomil Georgiev, Head of the FBA EAC Representative office in the Republic of Bulgaria.
Leonid Ivanov, Vice-President of the International Academy of Engineering, spoke about the joint work of the FBA EAC and the Academy. Igor Filonenko, Deputy Chairman of the RSPP Commission on Exhibition Activities, shared the progress of preparations for the International Forum-Exhibition «Russian Industrialist».
The meeting was held in a businesslike and friendly atmosphere.
