III PANEL SESSION

3 панель.jpg"EURASIAN TRANSPORT AND ECONOMIC CORRIDORS: DEVELOPMENT OF HIGHWAYS AND CROSSROADS"
  Moderators of III panel session:
Oleg Dunaev - Deputy Chairman of the RSPP Committee on International Cooperation, Chairman of the Subcommittee on Transport and Logistics, Professor, PhD in Economy
Vladimir Kotenev - Member of the Executive Board of FBA EAC, Managing Director of "Eurusian Strategic Consulting GmbH"
  Questions under discussion:
How to develop business on Eurasian economic corridors in the conditions of change and uncertainty? Can supply chain management and infrastructure cooperation ensure sustainable economic growth in Eurasia? How will the "Transport Strategy of Russia until 2035" stimulate inter-sectoral spatial connectivity in Eurasia? Can the Meridian Motorway become an engine of economic growth and inter-sectorial connectivity in Eurasia? What should be done in the sphere of financial and economic innovations to generate profit from the arrangement of Eurasian highways and crossroads in the space of East-West - North-South transport and economic corridors.
The speakers of the panel session agreed that there are large reserves for sustainable growth of economies in the arrangement of the Eurasian transport and economic corridors. Colleagues from Germany, Italy, Kazakhstan, China and Japan spoke about the need to overcome the syndrome of sanctions to combine efforts in the implementation of large-scale cross-border projects. The object of such efforts may be a commercial project "Meridian" presented to the panel participants, which provides for the construction of a PPP in the format of the shortest route of the missing section of the highway, which will connect the transport network of China with the road system of Central and Western Europe through Kazakhstan, Russia and Belarus. The regional aspect of the transport and logistics network formation for the development of territories remote from the landmark Eurasian highways, such as the Sakha Republic, was not missed.
