On December 8, 2022, a meeting of the Council of the International Congress of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (ICIE) was held in the capital of the Kyrgyz Republic within the framework of the Bishkek Investment Summit.
The meeting was chaired by Vasily Tarlev, Chairman of the ICIE Council.  Daniyar Amangeldiev, Minister of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic, Artem Chaika, President of the ICIE, and Zhumabek Zhanykulov, Chairman of the Presidium of the National Confederation of Employers of the Republic of Kazakhstan "PARYZ" shared their opinion on the challenges of the economy in modern conditions.
An important part of the agenda of the meeting was the admission of new members to the ICIE, among whom was the "Union of the Food Industry". Igor Trunov, Chairman of the Executive Committee of St. Petersburg thanked the leadership of the ICIE for the trust. Speaking about the activities of the union, he stressed the special role of the food industry in the global economy in an era of global instability.
Sergey Mikhnevich, Managing Director of the Department of International Multilateral Cooperation and Integration of the RSPP, Vyacheslav Plahotniuk, Chairman of the ICIE Committee on Legal Issues, Grant Akopov, President of the UNIMATIC Engineering Center, and Anatoly Tkachuk, Member of the Board of the FBA EAC, Head of the Center for International Projects and Programs of the ICIE, told the participants about the main challenges faced by the community entrepreneurs in their activities.
In the final part of the meeting, Sergey Glazyev, Member of the Board (Minister) for Integration and Macroeconomics of the EEC, President of the KSPP, and Danil Ibraev, Deputy Chairman of the ICIE Council, President of the Kyrgyz Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, noted that in order to overcome current challenges, entrepreneurs need to establish cooperation and continue dialogue.
Anatoly Tkachuk, a Member of the Board of FBA EAC, Svetlana Orlova, Executive Director of the FBA EAC, as well as General director Oleg Berezovoy took part in the meeting on behalf of the FBA EAC.
