On July 16, 2020 a regular extended meeting of the Executive Board of FBA EAС took place. It was held via video conference. The meeting was moderated by the Chairman of the Executive Board of the Association Alexander Murychev. The meeting was attended by members of the Executive Board and Bureau of the Executive Board of the FBA EAC, Chairman of the Business Council, Vice-Presidents, Heads of committees and strategic projects of the Association.

At the meeting the issues of admission of new members to the Association, expansion of the network of Representative Offices and the structure of the Committees of the FBA EAC, as well as the implementation of the priority areas of the Association were considered.

New members of the FBA EAC have become: JSC National Radio Technical Bureau, JSC International Leasing Group, International Finance Centre Astana, Russian Anti-Crisis Union.

Also at the meeting of the Executive Board Alexander Kotlyarskiy, General Director of Promtekh Company, was approved as Vice President of FBA EAC for Mining.

At the suggestion of Anatoly Tkachuk, President of the FBA EAC, the Executive Board agreed to sign a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Association of Russian Industrialists in West Africa and to open a new Representative Office of the Association in this group of countries. Alexander Biryukov, President of the Association of Russian Industrialists in West Africa, was appointed Head of the Representative Office.

Telling about the work of the representative offices of FBA EAC, General Director Oleg Berezovoy told those present that today the Association is represented in 45 countries. 26 Representative Offices of the FBA EAC have been opened and are actively working.

The new committee "Committee on International Leasing" was headed by Vladimir Sokolov, General Director of "International Leasing Group".

During the meeting, participants discussed the prospects for promoting strategic projects of the FBA EAC to create a digital platform for Eurasian cooperation "Digital Belt" and the Institute of Customs Audit, and outlined further steps for their implementation. Project managers made presentations on the progress of the projects: Andrey Lisitsyn - Director of the Centre for Financial Policy and Financial Markets of RSPP and Maria Serebrova - Director on Development of the Association of Customs Auditors and Consultants.

Kumar Manish - Member of the Bureau of the FBA EAC Executive Board, President of Soltex Group LLC (India) told about the prospects of the investment project "Lin - growing, primary processing and production". The project aroused interest among the meeting participants. It was decided to introduce a procedure for evaluation of such investment projects in the expert group of the Business Council and specialized committees of the Association.

On implementation of p. 2 of the Regulation of the Bureau of the Executive Board dated 11.06.2020. (On the current financial state of the FBA EAC) the General Director of the FBA EAC Oleg Berezovoy reported to the participants of the meeting, expressing his gratitude to the members of the Executive Board and Vice Presidents of the Association, who fulfilled their financial obligations in a timely manner.

The meeting was held in a constructive business environment. All participants of the meeting noted the good dynamics of growth of the Association, despite the current global economic and political challenges.
