Meeting with the Acting President of the FBA EAC
On March 15, 2022, the meeting of Acting President Alexander Kotlyarsky with Vice-Presidents and Chairmen of Committees took place in a videoconference format. The topic of the meeting was the work plans of the committees for the 1st half of 2022.
Welcoming the participants, Alexander Kotlyarsky spoke about the priorities facing the Association and asked those present to share their vision of the prospects of working in the new political and economic conditions.
Oleg Berezovoy, Director General of the FBA EAC, reminded the meeting participants that the Association's management, in an effort to improve the efficiency and degree of responsibility of the Committee Chairmen, will rely on the developed "activity indicators system" in assessing their activities.
Ruslan Taran, Vice-President of the FBA EAC, spoke about his work plans and shared with the participants of the meeting the state of affairs in the Republic of Moldova.
Chairman of the FBA EAC Committee for International and Scientific and Technical Cooperation Vladimir Kondratenko informed about the work plans of the Committee for the promotion of innovative projects. He also invited those present to take part in the scientific and technical conference of the Russian Technological University MIREA, which will include a round table organized by the Committee headed by him.
The Chairman Philippe Delmotte told about the work of the FBA EAC Committee on Finance and Investments. The Committee is currently working on issues of interaction with the US-French Fund, which finances technological projects, as well as green bond development programs.
Andrey Bespalov reported on the work of the FBA EAC Committee on Personnel Technologies and Qualifications. Now, the Committee is developing a plan for training highly qualified specialists for the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).
Chairman of the FBA EAC Committee on International Leasing Vladimir Sokolov noted the importance of planned work in the current conditions and spoke about the intention to focus further work of the Committee on cooperation with Asian countries.
Oleg Preksin, Chairman of the International Banking Committee of the FBA EAC, announced the preparation of an expanded meeting of the Committee with the invitation of the relevant structures of the FBA EAC, the RSPP, the Association of Russian Banks. The topic of the meeting will be "Current problems and prospects of cross-border financial and banking cooperation".
The Chairman Yuri Fedorov spoke about the work plans of the FBA EAC Committee on BAT (the best available technologies) and investment projects. The main task of the new Committee, he called the formation of its structure and work on the activation of project and investment activities.
In his closing speech, Mr. Kotlyarsky expressed confidence that in modern turbulent times the role of such an extensive international organization as the FBA EAC is only increasing.
The meeting was held at a high business and professional level.
