On April 6, 2022, a Russian-Iranian business forum was held at the RSPP headquarters under the chairmanship of the President of the Union Alexander Shokhin, the agenda included a wide range of issues of business cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Islamic Republic of Iran.  The forum was within the framework of the official visit to Russia of the Iranian delegation headed by Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, Director General of the Trade Development Organization of Iran Alireza Peyman Pak.
The program of the Forum provided thematic meetings and negotiations between Russian Iranian businessmen on cooperation in the field of medicine and pharmaceuticals, agro-industrial production and light industry, aquaculture and seafood production, logistics, technology and banking cooperation. In addition, there were negotiations in a narrow circle with the participation of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran Kazem Jalali and the heads of the leading Iranian companies represented in the delegation.

On the part of FBA EAC, Alexander Murychev, Chairman of the Board,

 and Oleg Preksin, Member of the Board - Chairman of the International Banking Committee of the FBA EAC, took part in the event and made speeches.

The negotiations continued the next day, when, at the initiative of the leadership of the FBA EAC, a separate meeting on financial and economic issues with the participation of representatives of the Eurasian Economic Commission took place in the RSPP in a mixed format.
