Member of the FBA EAC Board Anatoly Tkachuk took part in a joint meeting of the Coordinating Councils of the RSPP
On February 27, at the site of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, Anatoly Tkachuk, a member of the Board of the FBA EAC, a Member of the Board of the RSPP, took part in a joint meeting of the RSPP Coordinating Council for Ensuring Sustainable Business Development in the face of new challenges and threats and the RSPP Coordinating Council for Import Substitution, Technological Independence and Investment activity. The event was held under the chairmanship of the President of the RSPP Alexander Shokhin.
During the meeting, issues of the development of import substitution projects in various sectors of the economy were considered, measures of state support for investments and modernization of industry in new conditions were discussed. The participants also put up for discussion other issues in the field of import substitution and import saving. The participants of the joint meeting paid special attention to the necessary measures to protect the health of workers at the new stage of the spread of coronavirus infection, flu and other viral infections.
In his welcoming speech, the President of the RSPP noted the key aspects of the development of import substitution in the current conditions, as well as issues with existing investment support mechanisms. During the meeting, First Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Vasily Osmakov made a report on measures of state support for investment and modernization of industry in new conditions (departure of foreign engineering companies, suppliers of equipment and software), as well as on the prospects for the development of industrial cooperation. The General Director of Corporation "MSP" Alexander Isaevich reported on the support of the formation of new value chains in the current realities and the involvement of suppliers from among SMEs. Deputy head of Rospotrebnadzor Elena Yezhlova identified the most important elements of ensuring the protection of workers' health at the new stage of the spread of coronavirus infection, flu and viral infections.
The decisions and proposals developed following the meeting of the RSPP coordination councils are relevant for business participants interested in interacting with Russian partners.
