The statesman and politician of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the first Minister of Energy of independent Kazakhstan Kadyr Baykenov died at the age of 78. For Kazakhstan, he was an iconic figure, went from a design engineer at the Almaty Heavy Machinery Plant to Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
His whole life was endless dedication to his chosen cause and service to people. Work was the main part of his life, he was distinguished by exceptional diligence and was a true professional in his field.
K.Baykenov, occupying high leadership positions, never sought awards, praise or attention. He was passionate about what he was doing and always achieved success, was a model of modesty and firmness of convictions, a man with a capital letter, a man with a high sense of responsibility and resilience. Communication with Kadyr Karkabatovich brought positivity, joy and a charge of energy, allowed him to enrich himself with valuable experience, which he always generously shared with others. K.Baykenov was at the origins of the creation of the FBA EAC Association and made a great contribution to its development, always helped the Association to move forward, developing and strengthening its potential.
A very bright person, a talented organizer and leader has left us, Mr. Baykenov will always live in our hearts, remaining a professional and moral standard for us.
