On July 14, 2014 at the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs a trilateral meeting with the participation of the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Moscow Mehdi Sanai, RSPP President AN Shokhin and the head of the Association on behalf of Chairman FBA CS AV Murychev and CEO O. Berezovoy was held.

The sides noted mutual interest in the development of bilateral cooperation. Among discussed issues were: joint events, conferences, forums, search for mutually beneficial commercial and economic and business contacts, development of interaction of financial and banking institutions in the countries-members of the Association. The Iranian side expressed interest in investing private capital into the Russian economy, and expressed the wish to participate in the joint meeting of the Enlarged Board of International Banking and Financial Banking Association participating countries of the Shanghai Cooperation to be held on October 30, 2014 in Minsk (Belarus) .The sides also determined the coordinators of the Parties, that will later be responsible for bilateral cooperation.
