On July 3, 2024, General director Igor Kolesov participated in the scientific and practical conference "Environmental Engineering" as part of a discussion on the Strategy of advanced development.

Today, the environmental engineering industry faces a large-scale task of producing technological equipment that ensures the transition to the best available technologies within the framework of the implementation of the national Ecology project. Industry experts discussed the environmental problems inherent in life in large megacities (sprawling landfills, air pollution, poor drinking water quality).

The annual damage caused by environmental degradation in the Russian Federation amounts to 5-6% of GDP. Only 15% of small and medium-sized enterprises include activities related to the implementation of environmental measures in their statutory documents. Solving problems is entrusted to the bodies of special competence that carry out management in the field of environmental protection and control, they are the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Russian Federation and the Federal Service for Supervision of Environmental Management.

With the introduction of sanctions, dependence on the supply of high-tech foreign equipment appeared, but the achievements of Russian engineers and scientists already allow us to produce equipment that is not inferior, and in some cases, ahead of foreign development, which allowed us to form a technological advantage.

As a result of the conference, Mr. Kolesov established a number of important business contacts, which is necessary to maintain the functioning of one of the FBA EAC branch committees.
