Panel session «Eurasian transport corridors: restoration of old and creation of new logistics chains» took place within International Business Week at FBA EAC on November 23.

On November 23, 2022, a panel session was held in a hybrid format within the framework of International Business Week in Moscow. The panel was co-hosted by International Coordinating Council on Trans-Eurasian Transportation (CCTT). The participants discussed the topic that is relevant in today's conditions: «Eurasian transport corridors: restoration of old and creation of new logistics chains».
The event was organized within the IX Moscow International Financial and Economic Forum «Building bridges, not barriers. Business Eurasia in a new reality» and was held on the sidelines of the 31st Plenary meeting of CCTT.
The event was attended by the representatives of ministries, transport institutions, and transport and logistics companies from CIS countries, Europe, and Asia totaling over 150 participants from 19 countries.
The panel session was moderated by Gennady Bessonov, Secretary General of CCTT, and Vladimir Kotenev, Member of the FBA EAC Executive Board, Managing Director of LLC «Euroasian Strategic Consulting».
Li Shuobing, President of FBA EAC, and Alexander Murychev, Chairman of the FBA EAC Executive Board, Vice-President of RSPP, addressed the participants with a welcome speech.
During the panel session, the participants discussed the impact of the pandemic and the geopolitical situation in Europe and Asia on the international market of transport and logistics services and the need to build new logistics schemes.
Eduard Kaplan, Chairman of the Scientific Expert Council of Scientific-Research Institute of Transport and Communications, academician of the International Academy of Transport, evaluated the current areas of development of innovative logistics in the EAEU, the prospects for technological innovation and investment mechanisms in the context of rethinking economic models.
Representatives of transport and logistics companies UTLC ERA, Beijing Trans-Eurasia International Logistics, Behineh Tarabar Azhour, CVLOGRUS, China Railway Container Transport Corporation (CRCT), XY Group, Noytech Supply Chain Solutions, SmartLog, LX Pantos identified the constraints and expressed their proposals for the development of railway and multimodal container transportation through the "North-South" and "East-West" ITCs.
Following the results of the meeting, the participants of the discussion noted the particular importance of the discussed issues, the need for their further consideration and elaboration within the framework of further joint activities of FBA EAC and CCTT.
