Mr. Li Shuobing, President of the Financial and Business Association for Euro-Asian Cooperation, took part in the plenary session of the XXXIII Congress of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, which was held in Moscow on 25 April 2024. This is the first large-scale meeting of Russia's business elite held under the patronage of the RSPP, of which FBA EAC is a member.

The plenary session was addressed by the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin. He delivered a speech in which he highlighted the significant contribution of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs in proposing strategies to foster a sustainable economic growth, enhance the country's competitiveness and improve the quality of life of citizens, while maintaining a constructive dialogue between the government and business.

Traditionally, the Congress was opened by the President of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs. In his address, Alexander Shokhin, Head of the business association, underscored the significance of maintaining Russia's technological autonomy, the necessity of fortifying the position of Russian business in the global arena, the imperative of developing new territories within the country and the importance of continuing work on pivotal investment projects in the areas of human capital and innovation.

During the congress, Mr Li Shuobing held a number of important meetings with representatives of the Russian business community.
