On April 1, 2022, , Head of the FBA EAC Representative Office in Italy and Chairman of the FBA EAC Precious Metals Committee Andrea Boldi met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Italy Otabek Akbarov. During the meeting, such issues as cooperation and establishment of relations in the field of trade of precious metals, distribution of jewelry made in Uzbekistan, development and financing of the gold industry in Uzbekistan with the interconnected work of Italian technicians and the introduction of new technologies were discussed. During the meeting, great mutual interest was shown in the continuation of cooperation with the Association. The meeting was held in a friendly business atmosphere, during the meeting Andrea Boldi was also invited to the international Gold Embroidery and Jewelry festival, which will be held in Bukhara on May 25, 2022. The event is organized by the Administration of Bukhara, the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade, the Chamber for Commercial and Industrial Activities, the Hunarmand Association and the Uzbekzargarsanoat Association together with partners from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Culture of Uzbekistan, the Academy of Artists of Uzbekistan. The event was also approved by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
