The Partner of FBA EAC the International Economic Senate (IWS) received consultative status to the United Nations (UN)

On August 10, 2021, the Partner of FBA EAC the International Economic Senate (IWS) received accreditation as a Non-governmental organization (NGO) with the consultant status to the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) Of the United Nations.
Chairman of the IWS Management Board Peter Nussbaum noted that "...a thriving economy that brings prosperity to people is one of the guarantors of world peace, and the UN World Organization plays a central role in these processes.
IWS is confident that globalization is a real interaction of markets and people that takes place despite geographical borders and cultural differences.
Germany is open to the world like no other country. I am extremely pleased that IWS will now be able to promote our essential ideas internationally. Our senators will be able to apply for participation as delegates in the UN sessions in New York, Geneva and Vienna. Thus, IWS opens up to its members one of the most effective global contact networks on economic and social issues."
The International Economic Senate (IWS) was established in 2013. As a coordinating and advisory body, IWS provides networking opportunities for medium-sized businesses.
IWS promotes the principles of common global responsibility of people, business, politics as values of private entrepreneurship, traditional values based on not only reliability, but also the ability to adapt to the community, and also calls for the permanence of entrepreneurship in politics, management, and civil society.
Founded more than 75 years ago, the United Nations is now more active than ever in promoting multilateral order that ensures peaceful development, sustainability in the field of combating climate change, protecting human rights. Now the UN is as well one of the main advocates for global preventive measures to combat the spread of COVID-19.
For the first time the name Non-governmental organizations (NGOs) appeared as a result of establishment of the United Nations in 1945. Since then NGOs have had a strong impact on political development. Over the past 50 years NGOs have made significant progress in the field of human rights, climate and environment protection. The consultant status in the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) of The United Nations, in accordance with Article 71 of the UN Charter, provides NGOs with the opportunity to participate in meetings of the Economic and Social Council, as well as in UN sessions, and to defend their own points of view, including the form of written statements.
