The Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission at the meeting on October 29 adopted the technical regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union "On the safety of poultry meat and processed products", updated the technical regulations for agricultural and forestry tractors in the EAEU.
In addition, the EEC Council adopted a number of decisions on customs and tariff regulation, approved an action plan for the abolition of roaming in the EAEU countries, as well as the timing of the introduction of mandatory labeling of packaged water in the EAEU.
The EEC Council supported the initiative of the Russian Federation to begin work on simplifying the customs administration of marine products produced or produced by vessels of the Union States in the exclusive economic zone or the high seas.
The agenda of the meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council, which is scheduled for November 18-19 in Yerevan, has been approved.
The heads of Government of the EAEU countries will consider an action plan for the raw materials supply of the EAEU metallurgical enterprises, an action plan to increase the level of provision of the Union states with strategically important medicines and pharmaceutical substances for medical use, the production of which should be provided in the EAEU.
Also the agenda uncludes the issues on the state of mutual trade between the EAEU countries, on joint forecasts for the development of the agro-industrial complex, on the progress of work on the Agreement on the Use of navigation seals in the EAEU for tracking transportation, and others.
The meeting was attended for the first time by a member of the EEC Council from the Kyrgyz Republic, First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the country Arzybek Kozhoshev.
