The XVIII International Banking Forum "Banks of Russia-XXI century"

фото россия.pngThe Association of Banks of Russia traditionally organized the XVIII International Banking Forum "Banks of Russia – XXI century" in Sochi on September 15-18, 2021. The conference "The financial industry in the conditions of global instability: Russia and international practice" was held within the framework of the forum.
The forum is one of the largest and most representative events in the country, where the well-deserved attention is given to the banking community, financial market regulators, executive, legislative authorities and the media.
The plenary sessions and round tables of the forum are traditionally attended by the heads of the Bank of Russia, federal ministries and departments, members of the Federation Council and State Duma deputies, top managers of banks, representatives of international financial organizations.
Within the framework of the forum there were the following events: a panel session "Key challenges and directions of financial market development" and panel discussions "Prospects for the development of the financial industry: the position of the regulator and the view of the market" and "Regulation in the context of digital transformation".
The Forum's round tables were devoted to ESG banking, artificial intelligence, reducing the regulatory burden, banking secrecy and personal data, banking efficiency, the development of marketplaces, ecosystem regulation, information security, bank insurance and life insurance, compliance. At the REGION Group business breakfast, the participants discussed the topic "Digital client: new horizons of digitalization", and at the Sovcombank business lunch, they discussed the decline in the share of banks in the financial system and international trends in the context of Russian challenges.
  Chairman of the Management Board Alexander Murychev represented FBA EAC at the Forum.
