The XXXII Plenary Meeting of the International Coordinating Council for Trans-Eurasian Transportation
On October 17, 2023, the 32nd Plenary Meeting of the International Coordinating Council for Trans-Eurasian Transportation (CCTT) was held at The Carlton Hotel, Moscow.
Oleg Belozerov, Chairman of the CCTT, General Director-Chairman of the Management Board of JSC "Russian Railways", made a report on the role and tasks of the CCTT in the formation of a sustainable logistics system in the Eurasian space, new approaches and the search for effective solutions.
Heads of the CCTT Secretariat and working groups reported on their work.
The participants discussed national plans for the development of railroads included in the ITC "East-West", "North-South", issues of railway and port infrastructure development to eliminate "barriers" of international transport corridors, opportunities to simplify customs procedures, identified drivers of economic and financial integration, maritime logistics, analyzed options for future transformation and geographical expansion.
FBA EAC was represented at the meeting by Acting General Director Svetlana Orlova and Vladimir Kotenev, member of the Board of the Association, Head of the FBA EAC Representative Office in Germany.
