On March 23 a working meeting was held between Oleg Preksin, member of the FBA EAC Executive Board and Chairman of the International Banking Committee of the Financial and Business Association of Euro-Asian Cooperation (FBA EAC), and the financial block of the EEC headed by Bakytzhan Sagintayev, Member of the Board – Minister in charge of Economy and Financial Policy of the EEC.

BRICS Pay, an innovative service for cross-border payments and settlements was presented. BRICS Pay is a potential first step towards a new international payment system on a platform independent of any national jurisdictions, which is being developed by the BRICS Business Council with the support of the FBA EAC. The parties discussed the possibilities of promoting this project in the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union in the "BRICS + EAEU" formula.
The parties agreed to continue the dialogue, contributing to its rapid transfer into the mainstream of practical solutions.
