Working meeting of the Committee on BAT and Investment Projects with the Research Institute of Baby Food
On June 6, 2023, Yuri Fedorov, Chairman of the FBA EAC Committee on BAT and Investment Projects, met with Sergey Simonenko, Director General of the Research Institute of Baby Food. The meeting was also attended by committee member Valentin Karamzin.
The Institute is engaged in conducting fundamental, applied and experimental scientific research in the field of baby food technology and technology, aimed at creating and implementing new progressive technological processes for the production of domestic high-quality products of specialized baby food.
The Institute introduces innovative technologies for the production of specialized food products: for baby food, including water for baby food and beverages, for dietary therapeutic and dietary preventive nutrition, for pregnant and lactating women, for herodietic and sports nutrition. As part of the scientific support of the intersectoral baby food industry, many developed products for the nutrition of children of various age groups, pregnant and lactating women have been successfully introduced and mastered by the industry.
The meeting discussed issues of organizing cooperation in the creation of new production facilities for the production of dairy and fruit and vegetable mixtures for children in the EAEU and BRICS countries, as well as in the territory of the Russian Federation.
The meeting was held in a productive business way.
