On October 28, 2022, a working meeting was held with representatives of the Financial Policy Department of the Eurasian Economic Commission.
Arkady Khachatryan, Director of the Financial Policy Department of the EEC; Vadim Kovalev, Head of the Financial Policy Department of the EEC; Alexander Murychev, Chairman of the Board of the FBA EAC and Vice President of the RSPP; Oleg Berezovoy, Director General of the FBA EAC, Andrey Lisitsyn, Managing Director for Financial Policy and Financial Markets of the RSPP attended the meeting.
During the meeting, issues of the formation of a common financial market in the EAEU space, the development of settlements in national currencies, the formation of clearing systems, money market tools, digitalization in the financial sector, as well as the areas of interaction between the FBA EAC and the EEC on these issues were discussed. Plans for the participation of EEC representatives in the IX Moscow International Financial and Economic Forum were also discussed at the meeting. The meeting participants stressed the high importance of engaging in joint work, as well as building regular working interaction between the EEC and representatives of specific banking and financial institutions of the EAEU member states interested in the development of interconnections in the EAEU space.
The meeting was held in a businesslike and friendly atmosphere.
