XXIV St. Petersburg International Economic Forum
In the period from 2 to 5 June 2021, the XXIV St. Petersburg International Economic Forum was successfully held in the northern capital of Russia.
Oleg Preksin, Member of the Board of the FBA EAC, Vice-President of the Association of Russian Banks, CEO and Co-founder of the New Financial Alliance BRICS PAY LLC, took an active part in the Forum sessions: "BRICS Economic Partnership in new conditions", "On the way to the anniversary: new horizons of economic cooperation within the SCO", "EEU: successes and challenges of integration, a new development paradigm" (or: The Great Eurasian Partnership in the Era of Technological Transformation), "Multilateral Development Banks in the Post-Crisis Period: Old Challenges and New Opportunities», and also in the Regional Consultative Forum of the "Business Twenty" (B20) "Cooperation within the B20 to overcome the consequences of the COVID-19 crisis".
On the sidelines of the forum, working meetings and negotiations were held with the Manager of the Astana International Financial Center Kairat Kelimbetov, the Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission Mikhail Myasnikovich, the Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Development Bank Nikolay Podguzov, the President of the Association "Learn Eurasia", the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Banca Intesa JSC Antonio Fallico and other significant participants of the Forum. In particular, they discussed issues of cooperation and holding the VIII Moscow International Forum "We build bridges, not walls. Business Eurasia in a New Reality", which is held by the FBA EAC, will be held on November 18, 2021.
