September 16, 2015 in Xi’an (China) held a meeting of ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), responsible for economic and trade activities.
The meeting was attended by Vice-president of FBA CS, Executive Secretary of the SCO Business Council, President of the Business Club of the SCO Kanavsky Sergei (pictured left).

 The meeting was chaired by Minister of Commerce of the People’s Republic China, Mr. Gao Huchena.

 During the meeting discussed a wide range of issues on further development and deepening of regional economic cooperation within the SCO framework. Heads of delegations listened to the information about the state and prospects of trade and economic cooperation within the Shanghai Cooperation Organization SCO Secretariat on the implementation of the Program of multilateral trade and economic cooperation of SCO member states and the list of measures for the further development of the project activities within the SCO framework for the period 2012-2016, . As well as reports on the activities of the Business Council and the SCO Interbank Association for 2014-2015 years.
In addition, the meeting discussed a draft list of measures for the further development of the project activities within the SCO framework for the period 2017-2021 years, and the question of the creation of the Ad Hoc Working Group on Trade Facilitation (a group headed by the Republic of Kazakhstan).
